Updates to the system means at least a week of connectivity issues. Not only have they been the target of ransom-ware that shut down the system for 10 days but getting through a single day without getting kicked off is unusual. The cloud-based system is not very stable.
ALLSCRIPST IREMIND HOW TO
I like the ability to customize the software myself but it is not always intuitive as to how to do this. I'm sure there are other systems out there that are worse but it is hard to imagine. What should be simple tasks are made difficult. The doctor feels like the Veradigm app is pretty much useless and wishes that they would update it to be more like the desktop app.Ĭomments: When they talk about EHRs making life difficult for physicians they had Allscripts in mind. Most of the time, the doctor ends up using a browser on his phone and logging into the program that way instead of using the app because the app won't allow him to see the medication history like the desktop application does. We do not particularly like the Allscripts Eprescribe (Now Veradigm) mobile app. It can also be used on a mobile device if needed. It does not integrate with our practice management software unfortunately (We use M圜lientsPlus) but it works great for what we need it for.

Allscripts can be used as a stand alone prescribing tool. The doctor is a psychiatrist and does not need a lot of the extra features found in some EHR's.

When our doctor set up his private practice 13 years ago, I shopped around to find an electronic prescribing program that would best suit his needs. It is fairly easy to learn how to use and train staff on. Comments: Overall Allscripts Eprescribe or Veradigm has done just what we need it to do, minus that ability to have all the same features on the mobile app.
